Every day for 7 Days… I will be sharing stories about what this song means and the journey it took to create it. As you listen and feel the song, please share what comes through for you.
#AlreadyHere Part 1
This song is for you. From Me.
But not only from me.
The song entered my mind and heart when I was in Paris in Feb 2017. When it arrived I was given a strong message from spirit that I didn’t have to work too hard on how I would develop the song or what I would write. That the hardest part would be moving out of the way again and again and accept that this song is already amazing… even in its non physical state. The words, the beat, the emotions, the massive success of the song… it is “Already Here” and to let go of all my doubts, fears, and worries about who I needed to be or learn before I start. Just show up… And let the vibe send you.
I wanted this song… this song wanted me. So day after day I opened up through various practices—which I’ll talk about in another post.
In my meditations, writing sessions and my music studio… I took the time to go let go… open up and let the energy of what the song was move through me.
It felt like kids playing. It felt like an epic celebration after winning a long game. It felt like the perfection of ease. It felt like my genius, the genius of my tribe and the genius that supports me from beyond this world would always be there when I needed it. It felt like my head was resting on God’s shoulder and I was having my head rubbed while they said to me, “It’s okay. We’ll take it from here.”
From the open space of feeling great joy and gratitude for the song’s existence, I found great energy and excitement to show up at my music tools for it to come through and be manifested in this world. Each word that came through me held me like a mother with infinite arms as a deep reminder that I am infinitely safe, secure and supported.
I shared rough mixes with a select few… knowing that they were emissaries to help bring the song through fully. For that support I am always grateful. I will also be acknowledging each of you in a post to come because seeing how God works through the people around you is a whole message in itself. Your creative feedback and your emotional hell yeahs… confirmed for me so strongly that the song is great healing and relief for all of mankind… and would continue to be a song that I can nourish myself with again and again…
And here it is…
